St George’s Young Onset Dementia Support Group

John Parker Lecture Theatre, Atkinson Morley Wing
We welcome all young onset dementia patients and their families along for an evening of information, advice and support and most importantly the opportunity to meet others for peer support.
Dr Kiran Hans Tangri (Neuropsychologist) will be joining us to facilitate a short session on Carer Support in an adjoining room
We will also be cognitive stimulating you all with a fun session of Reminiscence of the 1960s and 70s. We would like you to ALL to bring along an item (object or photo) to tell a tale of personal importance from this era. We will end this with a quiz to keep those cogs turning!!
Your facilitators for the evening will be Nikki, Daniel, Maja and Alexia
As always, the support group is there for meeting others in similar situation, sharing experiences and gaining peer support in a friendly, social atmosphere.
