My Life Films is a charity who create free films of the lives and memories of people who have dementia.

They currently have funding available and are looking for individuals to work with.

My Life Films creates a unique and upbeat account of the life of a person living with dementia. The films act as an emotional stimulus and aid for the person and their carers during all stages of dementia.

Each film will feature memorable and happy chapters from the person’s life, using still images and video from family archives, interviews with family and close friends, and favourite music tracks. My Life Films helps:

  • People to remember their own great lives and to maintain their identity
  • Carers to get to know their patients and bond with them more easily
  • Families to unite and create a wonderful testimony of a person much loved, for generations to come
