Dr Jeremy Isaacs, from the cognitive neurology service at St George’s Hospital, ran an early onset dementia networking event on Thursday 11 November.
He explored the different clinical construct in place for those diagnosed with early onset dementia, compared to those with late life dementia, and the different needs of younger patients.
Dr Isaacs also spoke about how cognitive neurologists and memory clinics can work together to provide more tailored care for those with early onset dementia.
