A new report, ‘Approaching an unthinkable future – Understanding the support needs of people living with young onset dementia‘, has been published by Dementia Pathfinders. The resource is based on the experiences of people living with young onset dementia and looks at the impact a diagnosis can have on the individual and those close to them.

Looking at the unique challenges faced by those living with young onset dementia, ‘Approaching an unthinkable future‘ shares strategies for coping with this new reality, from those who have experienced it first-hand.

The report was published as a result of a Department of Health-funded dementia workforce project that Dementia Pathfinders delivered in partnership with St George’s Hospital Early Onset Dementia Group.
